Tyler Higbee (born January 1, 1993) is an American football tight end for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Rams in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played college football at Western Kentucky University.

Early years

Higbee was born in Clearwater, Florida. He attended East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida and played as a wide receiver.

College career

Higbee attended and played college football for the Western Kentucky University. As a junior he made six catches for 99 yards. He was named two-time Conference USA MVP and was considered one of the best tight ends prospects in college football.

Professional career

Higbee was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round, with the (110th pick overall), in the 2016 NFL Draft. On June 9, 2016, the Rams signed Higbee to a four-year rookie contract.
